I would like to warn everyone of this company and the way it operates. After almost 2 weeks of conversing and planning with a reasonable quote we were ready to ship our beloved dog back to Canada from costa rica. The shipper Luis knew the weight and size of the kennel as well as the dog. The day before we needed to get her to San Jose for check in he (ie.Luis) sends me a new bill with an additional $2,000US more he wants saying the size of her kennel is the problem and so the weight is calculated for the dimensions as being 2x. So he claiming the bill is going to be another $2,000US to ship. Regardless that this is not extra weight. Considering he knew the dimensions and total weight of the shipment almost 2 weeks ago this should not an issue. Why on earth would today it be another $2000 However, we get a new bill nearly 2x the original price the day before check-in. I happened to call Air canada cargo, they looked up her flight details, and they gave me the cost of shipping my dog. This Luis is trying to charge me another $3,000 for doing nearly nothing but organizing the flight ticket. In my opinion he is a complete shyster and should be at all costs avoided.
